He succeeds Patrick McBride, who was recently appointed head of international construction for Zurich Insurance Group, and reports to Tobias Cushing, U.S. head of construction. New York-based Mr. Wagner previously was regional vice president of construction property for the East region and E&S construction leader. He joined Zurich in 2019 as a construction property underwriter and before that held various roles at Willis Towers Watson and Travelers. Mr. Wagner was a 2024 Business Insurance Break Out Award winner .
