The move introduces explicit AI-related language across seven coverages, CFC said in a statement. The program includes updates across CFC products including technology errors and omissions; professional liability errors and omissions; eHealth; intellectual property; management liability; media; and cyber proactive response. CFC said it will be addressing novel AI exposures like model hallucination, AI generated content and model drift. The updates are designed to eliminate ambiguity and support more consistent claims outcomes amid policyholders’ calls for transparency and certainty with increasing AI penetration. The focus is on giving clients and brokers clarity in their policies, Nick Line, chief underwriting officer at CFC, said in a statement.
