Verlingue London Markets has appointed Scott Mills as its new commercial development lead.
Mills will support the continued development of the firm’s propositions across scheme and delegated authority business, as well as motor trade, property and casualty and motor fleet lines.
The appointment forms part of the broker’s wider strategy to strengthen its London market proposition and support future growth.
Mills said: ”I am delighted to be joining Verlingue London Markets at an exciting time in its development.

Experience
Mills joins the business with more than 30 years of experience across Lloyd’s and the wider London market.

His career has spanned wholesale broking, underwriting, operations and business development, while he has also held a number of senior leadership positions during his time in the market.
Most recently, he worked at Jensten London Markets as broking director.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
