Danielle Lisenbey Danielle Lisenbey, retired CEO and president of MedRisk and former CEO and global president of Broadspire Services, a unit of Crawford & Co., will receive the Business Insurance Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding accomplishments in the insurance and risk management sector. Ms. Lisenbey, who began her career as an engineer, rose through the ranks at Broadspire and its predecessor companies and, in 2012, became the first woman on Crawford’s executive team in the company’s history. She later left to lead Medrisk, retiring from the managed care firm in 2023. She currently serves on several industry-related boards. She was named one of the Business Insurance Women to Watch in 2013 . Ms. Lisenbey will receive the award at the U.S. Insurance Awards , which will be held in Chicago on July 23. The awards honor teams of professionals who work on specific projects in the commercial insurance and risk management sector, as well as innovative products introduced to serve the sector. The finalists were selected by senior Business Insurance staff from nominations submitted to the publication. A panel of risk managers will assess the finalists, and the highest-scoring team in each category will be announced at the event. For more information on the event, click here.
