Lockton, an independent insurance broker, has announced the appointment of Renuka Nar as Director – Head of Life and Health Reinsurance, India. In her new role, Nar will lead the Life and Health Reinsurance practice in India, focusing on building long-term partnerships, enhancing client value, driving innovation in the market, and supporting the continued expansion of the firm’s capabilities. She will report to Sudip Indani, Managing Director, Head of People Solutions India at Lockton. Nar brings more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry, with expertise in building and scaling life reinsurance businesses, developing market strategies, strengthening client and reinsurer relationships, and ensuring strong operational delivery. She joins Lockton from Aon, where she most recently served as Head of Broking, Life and Health Reinsurance Solutions, India. Prior to that, she was Associate President and Head of Life Reinsurance at Howden Insurance Brokers India.
