Mr. Armstrong, based in Los Angeles, previously was a casualty broker at RT Specialty. He focuses on complex casualty risks in the real estate and construction sectors, Brown & Riding said Tuesday. Before that, he held various casualty underwriting roles at Tokio Marine Specialty and Starr Insurance.
