There’s just one problem: It might still be recording. A 20-year-old man who triggered a photo safety camera while allegedly speeding in Phoenix last week pulled over, pushed the camera to the ground and repeatedly struck it with a rock, FOX 10 Phoenix reported. Apparently dissatisfied with his handiwork, he returned a short time later in a truck, attached a strap to the camera and tried to drag it down the street, according to the report. The strap broke and he drove away. The camera, however, recorded the incident. Investigators reviewed the footage, identified Brandon Ribadeneira and arrested him Aug. 25, the news channel reported. He was charged with felony criminal damage. And if the original speeding ticket seemed expensive, police estimate the damage at more than $47,000.
