Mr. Sogliuzzo was most recently vice president, senior underwriting specialist for Gen Re, where he had worked since 2012. He is experienced with upstream energy, ocean marine and inland marine, Howden Re said in a statement. The role is a newly created position, according to an email from a spokeswoman. The marine, energy & terror division is seeing increased client demand, Bradley Maltese, CEO, UK & global specialties, Howden Re, said in the statement. The division has produced 185% revenue growth year on year, Andrew Foot, managing director, global specialty treaty, Howden Re, said in the statement.
