He succeeds Brian McNamara, who will retire at the end of September. Mr. Morton will be based in Paris and report to Lara Martiner, global head of alternative risk transfer, Allianz Commercial said. Mr. Morton most recently was global chief underwriting officer, fronting and multinational, at AIG. He previously held several senior roles at the U.S. insurer, including head of complex multinational solutions and regional multinational and captive leadership roles in Bermuda, London and Paris.
