Ms. Madell, who assumed the role on June 1, reports to Christian Hoffman, who was named global CEO of commercial risk last week . The appointment is among several recent senior international appointments by Aon. The London-based global broking center is Aon’s wholesale and specialty broking platform. Ms. Madell most recently served as head of property, casualty and crisis management within the division. She joined Aon in 2018 as managing director and chief broking officer in Australia and later became chief broking officer for Aon’s U.K. retail business.
