Organizations using Huntress managed endpoint detection and response, or EDR, and identity threat detection and response products are eligible for cyber or technology E&O insurance policies with no deductible, using a streamlined application process, the companies said in a statement. Limits of insurance being offered in the standard program are $1 million/$2 million, and higher limits may be available through a conversation with Acrisure, according to an email from a spokesman. The new policies were developed by Acrisure in collaboration with Huntress, the statement said. Data shows that leveraging managed security platforms helps manage and mitigate risks, Adam Abresch, executive vice president, E&O of Cyber Solutions for Acrisure, said in the statement.
