Ms. Drummond, who will be based in Chicago, is currently chief commercial officer for Asia-Pacific. She will report to Andy Marcell, deputy CEO and head of risk capital and human capital, and join Aon’s executive committee, according to an Aon statement. Ms. Drummond succeeds Anne Corona, who was named CEO of North America in March . Ms. Drummond joined Aon in Singapore in 2007. Before that, she was a partner at Oxygen Insurance Brokers and previously spent six years at Marsh. She has held several leadership roles at Aon in Asia, including chief client officer and regional head of sales and marketing. Ms. Drummond will also chair Aon’s global growth committee, which includes regional and business-line chief commercial officers and other sales and marketing leaders.
