New York-based Ms. Golikova previously was underwriting leader in tax at AIG, where she focused on renewable tax credits and mergers and acquisitions-related coverage. Before that, she was an M&A manager at PwC. Longbrook launched its transactional liability business earlier this year, providing representations and warranties and tax liability coverage for mergers and acquisitions. Its U.S.-based brokerage business, Longbrook US Opco LLC, launched in June to facilitate excess and surplus lines placements. Additional business lines, including energy, renewables and title insurance, are expected to launch later this year, Longbrook said.
