Jun 11, 2026 Lancashire Insurance US, which does business as Lancashire Insurance Specialty Services, said Thursday it is expanding into financial lines, inland marine and environmental liability business and has appointed three underwriting executives to lead the new operations. Jason Rubman, who previously was head of financial institutions, lower middle market, at Axis Capital, was named senior vice president, financial lines. Lauren Berry, who was most recently senior vice president and head of inland marine and inland/ocean marine programs at Hudson Insurance, was named senior vice president, inland marine. She was also previously vice president and chief underwriting officer, inland marine, at Travelers. Janice Nunziata, previously an assistant vice president and product line manager at Everest, was named senior vice president, environmental liability. She also previously held roles at Philadelphia Insurance, American International Group and Chubb. The lines add to Lancashire’s existing U.S. energy casualty, property and general casualty portfolio. The Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer launched its U.S. excess and surplus lines business in 2024. The U.S. business is led by CEO James Flude. Lancashire U.S. operates under a delegated underwriting arrangement with Lancashire’s U.K. business. Lancashire operates two Lloyd’s of London syndicates.
