Cusack as president of its property and casualty division. The brokerage also appointed Bob Bennetsen as senior managing director of national sales and recruitment and John Harney as head of Alliant Americas. Boston-based Mr. Cusack previously served as head of Alliant Specialty. In his new position, he will manage Alliant’s $2.3 billion property/casualty, the brokerage said in a statement. He succeeds Peter Arkley, who is president of Alliant’s national retail brokerage. Mr. Bennetsen will lead business development for Alliant’s property/casualty division, while continuing to lead recruitment efforts. Based in Seattle, Mr. Bennetsen was previously head of Alliant Americas and an executive vice president for employee benefits in the Northeast. Mr. Harney, who had led Alliant Americas in the Midwest, will now lead Alliant Americas nationwide. Based in Chicago, he has been with Alliant since 2016.
