Legal & General Reinsurance (L&G Re), the global reinsurer for Legal & General, a UK financial services group and major global investor, has announced the appointment of Gwen Weng as Head of Capital Management. Weng brings more than a decade of industry experience in asset-liability management (ALM) and total balance sheet management within the life re/insurance sector. She joins L&G Re from Agam Capital, where she most recently served as Executive Director & Head of ALM. Prior to that, Weng spent five years at Equitable Life of Canada, most recently serving as AVP, Portfolio Risk and ALM. Earlier in her career, she worked at Sun Life Financial as an Associate Director, Global ALM.
