In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Scottsdale, Arizona-based insurer said it decided not to renew Ms. Patel’s employment agreement. She ceased serving as chief financial officer effective July 6, although her employment with the company will continue until Sept. 16. It appointed Neil Adler, chief financial officer of Zimmer Financial Services and Zimmer Partners LP, effective immediately. Mr. Adler will continue in both Zimmer roles while also serving as Ategrity’s chief financial officer, according to the filing. Previously, he held several accounting and finance positions at Zimmer Partners and earlier worked as a tax consultant at Deloitte. The filing did not disclose the reason why it decided not to renew Ms. Patel’s employment agreement. Ms. Patel joined Ategrity in September 2024 from W.R. Berkley’s Berkley One unit, where she was chief financial officer. Before that, she spent 18 years with Chubb. In the same filing, Ategrity also disclosed preliminary second-quarter financial results that exceeded its previous guidance. The company said it expects to report gross written premiums of more than $205 million, up more than 22% from a year earlier, a combined ratio below 87% and diluted earnings per share of more than $0.60, above the current analyst consensus estimate of $0.47.
