The brokerage said Sidecar X will offer capacity for representations and warranties and tax insurance to Aon clients in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, and Asia. The facility uses pre-agreed underwriting and claims frameworks and offers policyholders a 10% premium discount, Aon said. Aon did not respond to questions seeking additional details about the sidecar’s structure.
