New York-based Mr. Ellis will hold a management role and focus on client engagement, broker distribution and strategy. Marsh Risk said Thursday that Mr. Ellis had left the brokerage to pursue other opportunities outside the organization and named Alexander Reath to succeed him as U.S. real estate and hospitality practice leader. Mr. Ellis had rejoined Marsh in 2024 after five years at American International Group, where he held senior property and distribution roles. He previously spent 27 years at Marsh, including as U.S. property practice and alternative risk transfer leader.
