Bridgehaven Europe Specialty DAC (Bridgehaven), a European insurer focused on commercial and specialty risks, has announced the appointment of Fiona Marry as European CEO.
Operating out of Bridgehaven’s Dublin office, Marry will be heading the company’s European expansion, specifically focusing on building a more cohesive and connected ecosystem for commercial and specialty risks.
Marry brings a wealth of expertise from her 35-year career most recently Chief Executive at USAA EU DAC, previously CEO and CUO at Hamilton Insurance DAC.
She has worked across multiple key markets, underwriting for international firms from the Dublin market, and successfully established distribution channels throughout Europe, Australia, and Asia.
Her appointment marks a significant milestone in Bridgehaven’s expansion strategy to grow its network of managing general agent (MGA) partners across the EU.
From its Dublin headquarters, the company intends to scale its business model across Europe by leveraging its existing capabilities and developing additional specialty risk classes.
Bridgehaven’s European commitment is to create a more cohesive and connected insurance ecosystem, building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships between MGAs and reinsurers.
Backed by A- (Excellent) rated capacity, Bridgehaven is well-positioned to offer strong, differentiated solutions for European MGAs, the firm stated.
Following its recent first European MGA capacity agreement with Arrow Risk Management Gmbh, Bridgehaven anticipates supporting multiple European MGAs in 2026.
