Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The move will complement NFP’s existing life sciences business, the broker said in a statement. Eric Schneider, senior vice president, Frontier Risk, will join NFP with the same title, reporting to Scott Foster, health care and life sciences practice leader for NFP, the statement said. Frontier Risk’s cannabis business is a “natural fit” for NFP’s life sciences practice, Tom Gillingham, president of Commercial Risk at NFP, said in the statement. Following the sale of its retail cannabis business, Frontier Risk will focus on its multi-program manager Strata Specialty, the statement said.
