Mr. Rodliff will lead Axa XL’s claims strategy and operations across the Americas. Based in Boston, he will report to Lucy Pilko, CEO Americas, and Pam Urueta, global chief administrative and chief claims officer. Mr. Rodliff was hired from Liberty Mutual, where he was vice president of specialized claims responsible for multiline specialty claims teams. He succeeds Jim DiVirgilio, who will retire at the end of July after 18 years at the company, Axa XL said. Mr. DeVirgilio will serve as an adviser through the end of the year.
