Marsh Risk, formerly known as Marsh, said Tuesday it has hired a former Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. surety executive and named two other leaders for its U.S. surety team. Drew Vann, previously president and director of surety for Gallagher’s specialty Americas division, will be U.S. construction surety leader at Marsh Risk. Atlanta-based Mr. Vann will report to Fran Curran, who was named U.S. surety leader last year. Marsh Risk also named Carolina Jardim U.S. multinational surety leader and Jimmy Tse U.S. financial institutions surety growth leader. Ms. Jardim, who is based in New York, was previously credit specialty leader at Marsh Risk Brazil. She will also report to Mr. Curran. New York-based Mr. Tse previously led Australian bank ANZ’s insurance coverage business. He will report to Carrick Bligh, U.S. surety financial institutions leader. The three positions are newly created, a Marsh Risk spokeswoman said.
