Applied Surety will access capacity backed by AF Group’s A (Excellent) financial strength rating from A.M. Best and its U.S. Treasury listing, the companies said in a joint statement. The program will support commercial and contract surety programs for middle-market construction accounts and large commercial surety clients, including public and private companies, municipalities and nonprofits. Coverage will target heavy industry, energy and infrastructure sectors, the companies said.
